Sookii Su 10/05/2008 - 09/22/2022
aka "the Sugarbear"

'Queen' Sookii Su is a Siberian Husky born October 5, 2008.  She is my special girl - just a bit of a drama queen and is certain the world turns around her.  She loves to ride and will even ride in the sled when she gets tired as she has gotten older.  Weighing in at 32 lbs she looks like a toy beside the rest of our big dogs but her heart and attitude make up for her small size.  Sookii loved to run lead.  As a puppy in training she refused to work anywhere else in the team so she always ran double lead until she learned to lead on her own.  She was such a character growing up and remains so even now at 13 years old!  She has amazing skills of communication and lets you know without any doubt what she wants from you.  It's also been very special watching her relationship over the years with her best friend Bella.  Sookii and Bella picked each other as pups and have been inseparable ever they met at about 6 months old.  Bella was one of a rescue litter that was being fostered through the FNSB animal shelter and I had to adopt Bella after she and Sookii became so attached.  
In 2012, Sookii was bred to Stump owned by our friends Mike & Sue Ellis at Tsuga Siberians.  She had 3 adorable little "sugar babies" in July of 2012.  The names of these girls are Ember, Stig and Moonbaby. 
In 2016, Sookii was bred to Typhoon owned by our friends Jill & Karl at Windswept Siberians.  They had one exceptional baby girl named Danu aka "The Sugar Monster" 
In 2019, Sookii became a grandmother as Danu had a litter of 4 pups, Talisker, Rey, Joy & Julius.
